AGME Special purpose machines for riveting and rolling over both tube ends
AGME designs and manufactures special purpose machines for riveting and tube ends rolling over. In this case, three AGME riveting machines, two of them confronted, have been integrated into an automotive component assembly machine. The process performed is the riveting of both ends tube and the rolling over of the end of another different tube.Once the parts are fed manually on the fixture, they are held with clamps and the tooling advances on a slide. Then the three ends of the part are riveted or assembled. After that the slide chariot returns as well as the holding device. Finally the assembled part is unloaded.Amongst other components, this solution is composed of a tooling for parts presentation with a holding device, a sliding chariot moved by a pneumatic cylinder, one hydraulic RR16 AGME riveting machine with rolling over head and 2 RR-16 AGME riveting machines with riveting tools and antirotating system.Thanks to this customized machine the components´ assembly is performed in a fast and efficient way by riveting and rolling over processes.
