Locking wheel nut removal
Don't panic if you have lost or damaged your lock nut removal socket, we at Hometyre have a specialist tool that can remove all types of lock nut, including McGards, nuts with revolving collars, chromed & hardened nuts, spinning nuts & domed Jaguar nuts. Some of my customers have been quoted between £125 & £400 for the removal of one lock nut, we at Hometyre will remove all four nuts for less than this. Do not waste your money on the Halfords reverse thread remover as it will not work on the nuts mentioned above, it will only work on the soft type nuts. Plus if you damage the head of the lock nut too much, then even our tool may not be able to remove them. So far this year I have had a 100% removal success rate, and the photo shows some of the various lock nuts I have removed.
