QA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an AED
This basic life support and defibrillator training course will provide your employees with the essential knowledge and skills they need to be able to recognise when someone has suffered cardiac arrest and to respond to the emergency quickly, calmly and confidently. Please note that in-depth training in the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) is not currently part of either the Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work courses. This course is perfect for any staff who wish to undertake further training or to develop their knowledge and/or skills in this subject area. It is also recommended that all existing qualified first aiders in your workplace who have access to a defibrillator undertake this training.
