Embroidery Workshop - Silk Painted Baskets on 23rd April 2012
In this workshop we will use gutta as a resist to outline the design, inspired by cathedral windows, then paint it in glowing jewel colours before quilting to give definition. We will also paint the lining and back of the lid with silk paints and salt to give beautiful random patterns. We will then make a hand made cord as a finishing touch.
