Embroidery Workshops -felt apllique workshop 21st May 2012
In this workshop we will use felt for appliqué, inspired by the native tribes of North West America and Canada who used animal images for their totem poles. We will use stencils to add further detail, and embellish with sequins and/or pearl buttons. There are several designs to choose from, including a whale, frog and eagle. You will come away with a lovely decorative panel which can either be framed or used to make a book cover or small bag. I made one of my samples into a Kindle cover!
