Embroidery Workshops - Experimental Canvaswork Summer Gardens, 18th June 2012
Create an Impressionist style picture of a garden using just a few simple canvaswork stitches in an experimental way. We will paint the canvas (with a sponge - no artistic skill needed!) so that parts of it will peek through the stitch to give depth and colour. The stitches will vary from completely worked to partially worked, and will be embellished with bead, metallic thread and blending filament.
