Glasgow Commonwealth Games Handover
This week the Field and Lawn GL Events joint venture hands over the last of the structures and marquees for the upcoming 2014 Commonwealth Games hosted in Glasgow. The delivery of the marquees has been a massive challenge for the team but the result has been a great success for the company. The equipment supplied includes marquees and grandstands for venues around Glasgow, including the Athletes' Village marquees, and a massive structure to accommodate a squash court and tiered seating for 2500 spectators at Scotstoun. During the time of the build, which started in April, Field and Lawn Marquees has continued to deliver marquees and structures to regular clients up and down the UK from branches in Manchester, London, Bristol and of course Edinburgh.
