MOT Testing
Youngs Garage are your local village test station in the Market Rasen area. We don't offer "Stupid Discounts" like "Quick job". We charge just under the official MOT price as laid down by VOSA. The test takes just under one hour and is a visual inpsection and test of your vehicles basic safety and operating systems. It includes a measure of the vehicles braking perfomance the vehicle emissions, the condition and operation of lights, steering and suspension. An inspection of the vehicle structure and the state of the tyres. It is very much a "minimum" standard a vehicle should be at to be driven on the road. The tester will normally issue a VT 20 (Pass) VT 30 (Fail) and usually a VT 32 (Advisory). As part of our commitment to keeping you informed on the condition of your vehicle we normally in addition provide a health check sheet that will ALSO cover other areas of the vehicle not tested on the MOT. For example oil level and condition, state of your antifreeze etc..)
