4 Wheel Alignment

01/06/2020

8 in every 10 cars we check for wheel alignment are out of tolerance. A vehicle whose wheels are not correctly in alignment will not drive as well, will use more fuel, will wear its tyres much quicker and may be dangerous when braking hard. You should have your alignment checked ideally once per year, whenever you get new tyres fitted, work carried out on your steering or parts of your suspension system. Most tyre centres will track your vehicle for you. That is alignment will be carried out only to the front wheels. They will not normally check Camber or caster angles and in many cases don't have the equipment to do so. With more vehicles being fitted with larger diameter wheels and the increased cost of these tyres and the price of fuel it is vital that you get your alignment checked.
