ECOBUILD 2010 and Suffolk and Norfolk Cladding: Photovoltaic Systems
Among the bustling crowds at the recent 2010 Ecobuild Exhibition, at Earl's Court, London, were S and N Cladding's Senior Contracts Manager, Mr Shane Coldron and Marketing Manager, Mr Peter Masters.Shane Coldron was delighted to see the continued promotion of Green Roofs and Photovoltaic Systems, he said, "Regardless of the economy, this years exhibition seems to be attracting a lot more interest than last years, it seems that eco concepts across the board are still creating a real buzz in the roofing industry.  Major corporations, sme's and individuals are all waking up to the concept of not only saving substantial amounts of money per annum on power consumption, but at the same time lowering their carbon footprint.  Being carbon friendly presents some great PR opportunities for the larger corporations and in the long term they will be saving some very significant amounts of money.  High profile exhibitions such as this and the growing interest in carbon footprint reduction is very much a win, win situation.  By addressing green concepts and taking advantage of government incentives, people are boosting the economy and helping the environment at the same time."Marketing Manager, Peter Masters said, "As a company S and N Cladding has been very involved with Green Roofing design and installation for many years now, to see some of the major roofing manufacturers continuing to produce top quality cutting edge products and services and making a concerted effort to promote carbon reducing concepts is fantastic for us as a company.  It's a vote of confidence for our continued development and positive thinking, the UK is definitely moving forward in the right direction.  Most importantly, photovoltaic concepts seem to be the words on everyone's lips right now and of course, green roofs and photovoltaic systems work together perfectly!  This is great news for the industry, great news for the UK economy and great news for the planet!"
