CASE STUDY - M & H
Overview - To help a couple in the last stages of their planning for a winter wedding (red/gold)Biggest challenge - A small budget event with a short timescaleBiggest Reward - Seeing the smile on Hs face when she can see everything coming together.M & H are busy people like the majority of us, with M working away a lot...all the planning has fallen onto H's shoulders. So I am helping pull everything in together, liaise with all the suppliers to ensure things will run smoothly and offering support to H.Examples of tasks so far....Source centre pieces - due to the tight budget it was important to find something that would a) be cheaper than fresh flowers and b) provide some gifts for people as keepsakes. I have found some fantastic (& cheap) charger plates at Asda that fit with their red and gold colour scheme, with a pillar candle in the middle surrounded by small wreaths from The Range. There are also tea lights and confetti on the tablesProvide entertainment for the children - The children are a mixture of both sexes and ranging from 4 years old to 12 years old. I sourced big, cardboard novelty bags shaped as cartoon Robins...I then found several items to go in each bag appropriate to their sex and age, such as colouring books and pencils (for the younger ones) and doodle pads and pens (for the eldest), magazines with novelty toys attached, childrens xmas crackers and a range of appropriate toys.??? - I have a secret mission that H has set me to suprise M...so I can not give any details, but it will hopefully make M smile on his special day!
