Extraspace Solutions awarded 2 no. Modular Design & Build Projects for Basingstoke & North Hampshire
  The Trust has employed Extraspace Solutions to provide an offsite modular building solution in order to reduce the overall project time and ensure the prompt delivery of the new facility.The second project is another Modular Healthcare Facility which the Trust intend to use in conjunction with their current A&E treatment facility. The modular Acute Accident Unit (AAU) building will have a direct link from its planned position via a sixteen meter link bridge tying the building into the front of the A&E department.The modular building has a bespoke design due to its unique location. The original Hospital was built on a split level and the proposed location of the Modular AAU involved the design of a full steel work substructure to ensure the main entrance has a direct link to the A&E entrance.Both projects have high end finishes that ensure each modular building is fully HTM compliant and this coupled with Extraspace Solutions Agrement Certificate will ensure that the Trust will enjoy the benefits of the modular building for its certified structural life expectancy, which is "in excess of 60 years."
