Energy Performance Certificate (Commercial / Non-Domestic)
A Non Domestic Energy Performance Certificate is required for all commercial properties being sold or rented within the UK. Following an assessment by an accredited Non Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA) a NDEPC will be produced showing the overall energy efficiency of your property compared to a notional building of the same size/type and will rate its energy efficiency on a scale of A to G. This gives a prospective buyer or tenant an indication of the overall running costs of the property prior to entering a deal with the seller/landlord. It is a legal requirement to make available a NDEPC to a client prior to or during viewing. An EPC will help you identify critical improvements that you might make in order to improve your energy efficiency and lower your energy costs.
