TPMS Tyre Pressure Sensor Valve repair or replacement
Does your vehicle have sensor valves (TPMS) that have stopped working or has the stem broken? We at Hometyre can replace any broken valves and in many cases can repair damaged stems at prices that beat most main dealers. TPMS valves have a 7 year lifespan, after that the batteries run down and the sensor fails. The batteries cannot be changed, so the whole valve unit needs to be replaced. Some garages have quoted my customers up to £200 a wheel, we have done the change for around £80 ~ £90 per wheel. We have a diagnostic tool that can check the sensor, and record it's data, this can then be programmed into a new isensor so that when fitted to the wheel, the cars computer will not know it has been changed.
