Long Weekend Break in Italy
Arrive on Thursday have a welcome drink and meet your guide who will look after you throughout your trip. Then go out for either a two hour hack or an hours lesson followed by an hours hack. The riding will take place in the castle grounds and surrounding countryside.On Friday a castle to castle ride has been organised. A fabulous excursion which reaps the rewarding features of both the unspoilt Tuscan countryside, the ford of the Stridolone River you will wade through and the fortress you shall see when you reach the top of the hill. Truely a day to remember. You will have a chance of seeing wild boar, deer and pheasant roaming the countryside.Saturday is your last full day and so it is importanat you make the most of it. This morning you will ride the Bridgands trail which will reveal stunning veiws of the beautiful Lake Bolsena crater to the hills surrounding Lake Mezzano, and even, if it is a clear day, you will be able to see all forty kilometres away to the sea.Sadly, the day of departure is upon you. Everything included in the price has been and gone but if you wanted extra riding or even a lesson this morning then that would be easily arranged.
