Tyre Pressure Measuring Sensor valve replacement
If your vehicle is fitted with Tyre Pressure Measuring Sensor valves (TPMS) and they have stopped working, then we can replace them at prices that are often a lot less than a main dealer. One customer with a Chrysler was quoted £200 per sensor by his main dealer, we did the job for £80 per sensor, and we use original manufacturer parts. TPMS valves have a sealed battery which on average lasts 5 to 7 years, at which point the sensors fail and have to be replaced. The older valves are also prone to Galvanic corrosion and break very easily. From 2013, all new vehicles fitted with TPMS valves, must have them in working order, otherwise they will fail an MOT, older vehicles will just be given an advisory note.
