I am a qualified, experienced and accredited accessibility and inclusive design consultant. I provide training, design reviews, audits, workplace and fire risk assessments to ensure that disabled people are able to equally visit and enjoy the built environment. In addition to auditing and design appraising many public and commercial environments, I have undertaken research into pan disability access to colleges on behalf of the Learning and Skills Development Agency, and into sensory access (sight, hearing and autism) to higher education environments for the Equalities Challenge Unit. Work is undertaken throughout the UK and overseas and clients are spread across the public, private and voluntary sectors. As a qualified trainer in Disability Equality and Awareness and inclusive design, I regularly deliver workshops to private, public and voluntary sector clients. I also provide a range of support services on critical compliance areas, including fire risk and general health and safety.
