Our faith journeys are taking us into new realms of lay ministry which include lay pastoral care and lay leadership across the diversity of church style and identity We are currently reaching out to east Shaftesbury, to those moving into the new houses, to young families, and to those furthest away from the church building We have a strong musical tradition, with an excellent Director of Music and harmonious choir, but also a worship band that leads modern hymns and choruses We believe that we are called to worship God in Jesus Christ and to spread the Good News of the love and grace of God in our parish communities, seeking the lost, and serving those in need We believe that it is important that priest and people feel they belong to, and care for, each other, thus enabling us to work together for the benefit of our various communities
