The AECW was established in April 1988 when representatives from 26 churches in Wales met for the first Annual Assembly in Aberystwyth We work through Ministry Teams which are proactive in their spheres of responsibility In pursuit of this aim we seek to preserve the freedom of each local church to choose its own level of association with other local churches
