Norfolk based Antique Binoculars sells a selection of both military and privately-owned sets on a world-wide scale, responding to an ongoing and growing requirement for both original and refurbished items. Whilst not restricted to the WW1 and WW11 atrocities, it is clear that optical instruments played such an essential role during such periods and their survival throughout their most rigorous treatment is testament to its engineering quality. They are deserving of their own "peace-time" retirement and towards this end a number of them may be either sympathetically cleaned and serviced or fully refurbished to highlight a pleasing brass exterior, offering continued use for a further 70+ years and making for that "unusual gift" for the home, appartment or office whilst preserving a piece of history. For the more discerning collector sets may be left "as is" illustrating differing levels of active service, leaving further internal attention to the buyer. If this is to be the case Antique Binoculars will happily forward them to their own listed restorers. There is a "special" feel when you use an old binocular, perhaps it is the sense of history and endurance,, a replacement for a misplaced set, or the sense of occassion that"if only binoculars could talk what stories they could tell"? Looking forward to hearing from you..
