Berberis Thunbergii
Berberis Thunbergii (Atropurpurea) Very effective as a thorny boundary hedge, the Berberis has attractive purple red leaves with yellow blossom in the spring followed by red berries in the autumn. A tough, easy to grow hedge that is maintained easily and grows up to 30cm a year. Adult plants will reach approximately 1.2-1.5 metres (4ft). Supplied as 70cm (approx) plants. Plant about 40-45cm apart.
