Leylandii Conifers(Leyland Cypress) The Leylandii conifers are one of the fastest growing evergreen hedging plants available.Growth can exceed over 1 metre annually and when maintained properly they offer substantial screening and privacy. They grow well in most soils. Although they are not keen on waterlogged soil, they do need regular watering when newly planted as they have shallow root systems. It is worthwhile adding bonemeal or a similar plantfood to the surrounding soil to maintain fast, healthy growth.
