Birch Cottage has been in existence for over 100 years and used to be a gamekeepers cottage as part of the nearby Flichity Estate. More recently it has been extended and is now run by Derek & Tricia McRiner as a discrete bed and breakfast facility with one double and one twin-single bedded bedroom. The facility is being further extended by the addition of a large, double glazed conservatory to enable guests to appreciate the stunning scenery and wildlife, whilst enjoying a leisurely breakfast or evening meal (on request) and a self-contained traditionally built log cabin which should be completed by the summer of 2009.Beautiful Birch Cottage is the place to relax and unwind in the midst of the Scottish Highlands, yet it is not too far away (8 miles) from the ever expanding city of Inverness and all it has to offer for the northern traveller.
