Worthing Astronomers (WA) is a free to join, on line, astronomy club where the emphasis is not on lectures but on practical observing sessions, under the night sky.Beginners and experienced alike are welcome - no telescope required! Members are regularly updated with events, both at club level and what is going on in the sky. During the International Year of Astronomy in 2009 WA took their telescopes onto the streets of Worthing and shared views of the sky with members of the public, helping to make the general public aware of the sky above them; these events helped make Worthing Astronomers the areas leading focus in astronomy.
