Ardoyne Women's Group is based in north Belfast in the Ardoyne ward of Belfast City Council and has been functioning since 1984 Our organisation emerged as an initiative of local women who identified a need for a safe and nurturing place of respite for women and girls where they could access information, training, advice and education opportunities as well as give local women a stronger voice on larger organisations and boards The Group operates from the Belfast City Council’s Ardoyne Community Centre where we have access to training and 'breakaway' rooms for the women’s use as well as fantastic crèche facilities
