Compass Community Arts is a registered charity based in Eastbourne working predominantly with marginalized and disadvantaged and at risk groups, individuals and artists who need a voice in society Through creative projects Compass Community Arts supports and develops artists and participants both artistically and personally Our method involves highly skilled professional artists facilitating the creative development of marginalized artists who in turn facilitate participants through skill sharing and workshop events Our mission is to ensure that the arts are both accessible and beneficial to all branches of the community Working in response to participants, we encourage communication and creativity, ensuring opportunities to exchange, celebrate and promote understanding and inclusion through varied art activities
