Shine 21 Dorset Down Syndrome Buddy Club established in 2018, is a parent led local group based in Dorset. We are a community support group providing a local network for families of children and adults with Down Syndrome, focusing on social activities and the development of friendships for our children. Our aim is to work directly with families and professionals involved with the supoort and education of children and young people who have Down Syndrome, seeking to inspire a well balanced and informative understanding of what out children can achieve. We advocate positive opportunities to allow our children to experience the best out of life, our activities extend from hands on sensory workshops to physical activities and sport.
