It is 2 miles from Glamis Castle, 0.5miles from Kinnettles Castle, 3 miles from Forfar and 7 miles from Kirriemuir & the Angus Glens The cottage was built in the 1790s as 2 cottages (Butt'n'Ben) for millworkers and has been tastefully renovated to meet today's standards & requirements. The accommodation is all on one level & comprises of a warm & comfortable lounge with wood burning stove & dining area, kitchen with modern appliances, bathroom with bath/shower, 1 double bedroom & 1 twin bedroom. The twin bedroom can accommodate a travel cot if required. Outside there is a small front terrace where it is possible to sit of an evening, relax & enjoy the peace & tranquility of the countryside.
