Your Life was established in July 2011 by Lisa Wright and Martyn Sammy. After many years of working in day services with adults with learning difficulties, a need was identified for a more person centred service to be created. A service which promoted and enabled people to regularly access enjoyable community based recreational activities. Personal Care Our fully trained support staff are experienced with assisting people with all aspects of personal care, whilst maintaining your dignity and promoting your independence as much as possible. Whether you need lots of help everyday or minimal help from time to time, we can assist you with a wide variety of personal care tasks. All of our staff are fully trained in Moving and Handling and are able to assist you with your mobility and use of aids and equipment. Medication Support If needed we can support you with your medication in many different ways, to ensure that you are taking the right medication at the right time. You may just need a reminder or minimal assistance, or you may need full support around Medication Administration. Shopping and Domestic Duties Our support staff can accompany you to the shops and assist you to do your own shopping or if you provide a shopping list and the money our staff will do your shopping for you. We offer a range of domestic support which we can provide within your own home. Meal Preparation If you require support with food preparation, assistance with making healthy choices or help to plan your meals then we can help. Our staff are trained to assist you with your choices and provide the levels of support you require. Social Support Meeting people and getting out and about can be difficult for some people, we can support you to get out and about within the community, meet up with friends or family or go along to social events. GP and Hospital Appointments Here at Your Life we understand how important it is to attend those GP or Hospital appointments, if you are struggling to attend your appointments our support staff can assist you and ensure that you arrive on time.

We provide support for adults with Learning Disabilities to access social and recreational activities within our day centres located on Willerby road and at Bransholme centre and out in the community, As a CQC registered provider we also provide Personal Assistants to provide more flexible support in peoples own homes, we can support to provide personal care, domestic chores, shopping, attending appointments and so much more.
