The Retreat, Canine Hydrotherapy offers rehabilitation sessions, fitness swims and puppy swims (from 12 weeks) in our 9 x 4 metre pool which is heated between 28-30 degrees and fitted with a gently sloping ramp, allowing your dog easy access into and out of the pool. We work with your vet, to ensure a careful and bespoke programme of hydrotherapy is created for your dog, and once in the pool your dog will be assisted in the water by one of our fully trained hydrotherapists. Hydrotherapy has been shown to benefit many health conditions including arthritis, chronic degenerative radiculomyelopathy (CDRM), cruciate ligament injuries, hip and elbow dysplasia, obesity, paralysis, soft tissue and spinal injuries.
