SHU - Dying Star is the first in a trilogy and is clearly aimed at the fantasy and science fiction genre. Shu is the star at the centre of the planetary system on its transition into a black dwarf. The adventure takes place on the world of Gebshu and its orbiting moon. Billions were killed during Shu?s collapse melting the polar icecaps and transforming the planet surface. The ruling classes left the planet and settled on the moon. Those left behind found a new life beneath the water. The story follows the accidental hero Var as he stumbles through his adventures trying to find his place in a world he understands less and less as his future unfolds. At the same time we take a look into the life of the Emperor on Son-Gebshu and his two sons Vas and Bok. We follow the characters on their entwined lives as they encounter strange creatures, ancient races and each other. The adventure and action increases as the prophecy foretold at the outset eventually changes the destiny of the entire population of the fading system
