Local Solicitor in Climbing Challenge
Robin Humphreys, Partner & Head of Litigation and Employment Law at Whatley Weston & Fox Solicitors and President of Worcestershire Law Society will take on the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge, climbing Pen y Fan, Cadair Idris and Snowdon on the 19 and 20 May to raise awareness and some much needed cash for the Prostate Research Centre in London. Every year 30,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer and more than 10,000 die of it - that's one person every 50 minutes. The Centre's mission is to raise funds to undertake research to improve the survival and quality of life of men with prostate cancer. Research focuses on understanding prostate cancer development and progression, managing it by identifying those who will benefit and treatment- bringing results from laboratory to bedside.Robin says: "the challenge will mean about 20 miles of walking, 9400 feet in ascent and descent and 180 miles of driving - it will be a tough weekend but for a very worthwhile cause"
