Microworms, 500ml Tub
Panagrellus Redivivus Microworms are very robust and easy to care for with only 3.5 mm in length. Here you can buy Microworm cultures already strong in numbers. You can see thousands of worms climbing the container walls and you can start feeding your baby fish with them right away. To do that wet a cotton bud and swipe off some worms from the container wall, not the feeding substance made of oats. If you want to use the culture for longer you will need a plastic tub with lid or small glass jar, 3 or 4 tablespoons of oats, 3 table spoons of water and some crumbs of yeast. Put the oats, water and yeast in the tub and mix to get a rather thick and sticky feeding substance. Make sure its not too wet or too dry. The substance in the tub should stand around 2 or 3 cm high. Now mix some worms from the old culture under the new one and close the container with a lid or cling film. Make sure you open the lid at least every 2 or 3 days otherwise the worms will suffocate. You can cut a small hole in the lid or cling film and stuff some cotton wool in. That saves you time opening the cultures and no flies or other insects get in the container. Feeding the worms with a few crumbs of yeast every week will keep the cultures active for a long time.
