At Nanhoron Farms, we grow and sell 100% natural, premium Miscanthus Animal Bedding on the Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales. Bedding can be purchased online either in single bales, or in bulk on pallets for local or national delivery. Benefits include being highly absorbent, low in dust, value for money, easy to work with and environmentally friendly. It has excellent thermal properties, there is less waste and easier mucking out, and it’s naturally compostable, seedless and nitrogen-rich. Miscanthus is ideal for many animals including horses, cows, sheep, poultry, small pets and more. Available all year round, across the UK. Additionally, we have one of the finest Original and Polled Hereford Cattle herds in the UK and a large sheep enterprise. As a business deeply embedded in a rural landscape, community values are central to everything we do. Through our premium Miscanthus Animal Bedding, we have shared our values with customers across the UK, from the Scottish Highlands to the South of England. We are proud to support both farmers and pet owners with an animal bedding solution that is not only effective but also affordable. What sets us apart is not just our consistent, high-quality product but also our friendly, reliable customer service. Whether you are making an enquiry or placing an order, you can trust us to support you every step of the way, always with a personal touch. Our Miscanthus Animal Bedding offers several advantages over traditional options like shavings, straw, and hemp - it absorbs more moisture, is virtually dust-free, and creates a comfortable, clean environment for animals, making life easier for their owners. Even better, it is highly sustainable. Miscanthus naturally sequesters carbon, so any machinery used during production is effectively offset. Additionally, our Hereford Cattle & Sheep graze extensively across the farm, resulting in a reduced reliance on concentrate and processed feeds that can adversely affect the environment. This aligns perfectly with our broader mission to preserve and protect the land, habitats, and wildlife that make this region so special.
