Sitting on the rickety old oak fence at the bottom of Holcot lane in Northamptonshifre you can look at the village of Old , and its church tower , that looks like dolls house furniture in the distance ! ... At the right time of the summer all the fields are of varying shades of green and yellow, with a network of hedgerow oaks to split them, this is my England, How i have always seen it since a five year old boy sketching the cedar of lebanon trees in the grounds of the local hospital.... I believe i caught that feeling in this watercolour , Yes... ok, its not a fifty quid deal , I want at least 200 for it because quite simply it captures my beautiful county of Northamptonshire.... if you are anywhere near the gallery , come in and see it , you wont be dissapointed.
