Fans and swirls
This painting became part of my " Teenage nights " series , based around thoughts , memories and ideas from my youth, when life was pretty much carefree and safe, unlike today... I feel for todays kids , my son has been attacked with a knife before and there are muggings and threats all around in the UK right now... this painting however is about the thrills of youth , the visiting fairground , the colours , the night , the sounds , the whiff of candy floss, roundabouts , rollercoasters , dodgems and wheels.... its a beautiful deep blue textural painting with some complex air brush work over acrylic concrete , sand texture , dribbled resins and pastes ..... Im sure its new owner will love it forever. martin
