Slate Roof Repairs
The Roofing People offer Slate Roof Repairs in South Kirkby, South Elmsall, Pontefract, Wakefield, Doncaster and throughout South Yorkshire. Slate roofs offer one of the best looking roof finishes, with many old roofs being over 100 years old we get a significant number of sensitive repairs. Roofing Slate is a naturally occurring material that offers superior protection, often blending into the surrounding area. Slate is created in the ground over hundreds of millions of years and is extracted via slate quarries. Roofing tiles are then created from splitting slates into thinner slates that can be used for roofing tiles. Slate roofs, primarily because of their natural elements and accessibility over the centuries, are considered to be the best and will last for the length of the property if maintained over the years. Principally grey slate is available in an amazing array of shades, countless combinations of length/width/thickness and in a variety of installation styles. Alternatively you may wish for a Slate Roof repair to retain your existing tiles or slate with a new breathable membrane, felt and batten installed. Whatever your requirements we will work with you to find the right solution to your needs. We undertake all types of Slate Roof repairs and are approved by insurance companies. Our roofers will fully investigate any roof problems and take photographs for you of anything that may need repair. If you require a written report on the state of your roof and ancillaries this can be done too. We will then discuss the various options available and highlight all areas from the outset with a list of works to be done. On completion we will again photograph all our work and show you the Slate Roof repair.
