The Student Poker Player - Pub Poker League is an entertainment company involved in the organizing, development and marketing of a 'Play for Fun' Pub Poker Nights, as well as the licensing and sale of branded products and corporate sponsorships. The concept behind the league is to offer an event where Pub regulars with different levels of experience, from novices to professionals, can play in a friendly environment for the chance to win points at no cost or financial risk. The SPP offers pub regulars the opportunity to play in multiple events across major UK capital cities, in an effort to gain points towards the Regional National Finals. Apart from the league events Student Poker Player organizes celebrity, charity and corporate poker tournaments based on its normal event format to increase the company's reach and brand awareness as well as support important causes, but do not count towards the league results.
