RER's Suneo mobilizes UVCs for the environmental treatment of pool water

01/01/1970

Suneo 2008 is designed for 30m³-to-200m3 swimming pools. This treatment is both a curative solution, which uses ultraviolet rays to destroy microbes, viruses, bacteria, algae and mould, and a preventive solution, as it effectively helps to stop the reappearance of algae. Suneo 2008 guarantees soft, odourless water that is pleasant on the skin and does not cause allergies or irritate the eyes.In a bid to optimize the system’s performance and further reduce the inconvenience associated with treating pools and spas, RER now offers a package with fully automated pH regulation (pH+ and/or pH-), together with a function for injecting an active oxygen-based remanent agent proportionately to the temperature of the pool.Suneo 2008 is a stainless-steel treatment unit with a refined ergonomic design. It is compatible with all types of pool coatings and is relatively compact (850mm in length x 300mm in width x 320mm in height). RER has also focused on safety, maintenance and ease of use: Suneo 2008 integrates warning lights to show when the tank is empty; a forced-injection function; optimised fixation; simplified wiring; and a function for monitoring lamp-operating times and injection quantities.Suneo 2008 is available in five versions regarding pump-flow capacities: 7m3/hr, 15m3/hr, 22m3/hr, 32m3/hr, and 50m3/hr. A 220V AC/50Hz power supply is required to control pump recirculation.About RER RER of France has been a specialist in water treatment for 20 years. The company, which is based in Oullins, near Lyons (in south-eastern France), develops solutions for businesses, individuals and local authorities. RER has successfully developed its business on the basis of its specific area of expertise — ultraviolet (UVC) treatment. Already installed in over 4,000 pools, the Suneo system designed by RER stands out as an ecologically sound solution, which is respectful of both the environment and human users. Suneo 2008 will be previewed at the Batimat trade show in Paris (France) from 5 to 10 November 2007 (Stand #1-R-115).
