Quality Cumbria is the local quality assessment scheme developed to recognise and drive up standards of accommodation in Cumbria This requirement is no longer applicable and accommodation providers who have previously had a National accreditation can move back to having a Quality Cumbria grading if required Our working groups have input by private and public sector representatives and cover Policy and Development and Commercial Services, both report into the Executive Board The private sector and public sector partnership that is CT goes from strength to strength, we now have which represents over 3,000 visitor dependent businesses, in turn these businesses represent over 20,000 people, therefore reaching most people employed in some aspect or other of tourism in Cumbria Cumbria Tourism will continue this excellent work and will remain at the heart of our visitor economy as the passionate voice of tourism representing businesses
