Since opening in 2004, Redgates Kennels and Cattery have built a reputation for being a caring and happy holiday home for your cherished cat or dog.Owners, Martyn & Denise Booth have a life time experience of animal care and understand the responsibility of being entrusted with the care of your pets. A safe, comfortable and stress free environment is provided with emphasis on your pet enjoying their stay.For the dogs there are three playtimes per day in the large secure paddocks, so depending on the weather it means 2 to 3 hours of supervised exercise per day plus each kennel has its own attached large run. The kennels themselves are full height, spacious, heated and very similar to a room rather than a traditional kennel.The cats meanwhile have a more leisurely time curled up on their snooze chair or watching the world go by from their lookout shelf, both of which are situated in their individual covered run overlooking the cattery garden and beyond, to the fields and woods. Their snug heated cabin is accessible, when they choose, via a pet door.Ideally you should always try to inspect anywhere your pet is to be boarded ensuring you see the actual accommodation where your pet will stay. At Redgates, visits are encouraged during opening times, with an hour or so notice. On arrival for their stay owners are welcome to place their pet into their accommodationSituated between Hay-on-Wye, Kington and Hereford, Redgates is conveniently placed for the Herefordshire and Powys area.
