The Twin Chapels Centre Limited, took over the running of the Twin Chapels in March 2008, based as a not for proffit organisation. We gained Charity status in November 2008 running as a community centre for the people of Batley and Kirklees and to maintain the historical grade 2 buildings. We can be used as a drop-in IT facility for the community, 1 to 1 training for specific needs and IT classes with Kirklees College, formally known as Dewsbury College. We offer a large range of training courses, which are available to the whole of the community. We have disabled access to our upper floor level, where our IT suite is located. We have a cafe for tea & coffees, which is often used whilst people are visiting family graves. The Consecrated Chapel is still available for a variety of Church uses and is also available at very competative rates for the local Community, conferances, parties, meetings, talks etc.For further details please contact Debby Longstaffe, at the above.
