So I used Patrick and Simon to do several jobs in my garden . Over a period of weeks they took out a number of trees , pounded some and pollarded Lime trees in the street. They also reduced the size of a very large Cypress tree which has given us so much more light in the garden. Whilst doing the work they were extremely professional , tidy and hardworking. They took a lot of pride in their work and would always check with you if what they had done was alright and make changes if necessary. Whilst working at the house they uncovered a birds nest in one of the trees which still had young in it and Patrick made sure that this nest was protected until the young left and then he returned to finish the pollarding once they have flown the nest. Their care and attention to their work was excellent and I would totally recommend them to others.

Very impressed with the service we received trimming down some tall trees in our garden. Arrived on time and recapped the work we were expecting to ensure we were happy with what was planned. Kept the garden clear throughout the day, not letting any cuttings build up and even offered to remove other garden waste we had let build up over the summer. Happy to take on an extra tree that we asked for on the day, quickly agreeing a reasonable price with us. Followed through on everything we wanted, always staying completely professional with both ourselves and the neighbours. Would 100% recommend.

From the initial contact made via email, I knew I would be in good hands. Simon and I agreed a time for an initial consultation, from which two specific quotes were given; then emailed across to me. Although Firwood had a busy schedule, we found a suitable time to get the job done. Simon and his son arrived promptly and dealt with the tree removal safely and efficiently and also tidied and removed all cuttings when they had finished. I was extremely impressed with their politeness and professionalism, something which seems to be few and far between in my experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend this business.

Quick and easy to use website. The 'contact us' form was simple to fill in. Patrick responded very quickly and was able to give me a quote the same day as his visit. Even though communication was only via email the way in which Patrick replied to my enquiry was so professional that I didn't look elsewhere. Luckily for me the job got booked in the next day due to a cancellation and the tree was successfully removed. I am delighted with result and highly recommend Firwood Tree & Garden Services.

Patrick was absolutely brilliant. Professional, polite and did the work to a very high standard. He even honoured his price when he forgot to charge me for extra work that was agreed and had not been put onto the bill. Would most definitely recommend his service to anyone who requires it.

Patrick and his team came around to our property to cut down a couple of very tall diseased birch trees in our back garden. They worked continuously and got the job done efficiently by early afternoon. They were polite, helpful and cleared up absolutely everything - leaving the lawn looking even better than it did before! I would definitely recommend this service and plan to use them again soon for another gardening job. Thank you Patrick and co.

Knowledgeable, efficient and professional service. We contacted Firwood about removing an old mature dead tree and arranged a viewing. They arrived promptly and carried out the inspection, advising that only a portion of the tree needed to be removed in an attempt to revive the living part; I have a much better understanding of trees now! On the day of the removal the guys arrived at the time they committed to and swiftly got on with the work, setting up a safety area below. It was fascinating to watch how quickly they scaled the tree, removing branches and the larger trunk, in what felt like no time at all. Once on the ground they then proceeded to cut the trunk into small enough sizes for me to store as firewood. The smaller branches were mulched and it now sits around my strawberry beds. An interesting and enjoyable experience. It's nice to have work done by someone that has a real pride and interest in the work they are doing. We will be using them again.
