I am a realistic painter, a break from what has become the norm of vectors and contemporary drawings. My illustrations are hyper-realistic often using in a first person perspective, this gives my paintings an almost surreal edginess that highlights elements that would usually be overlooked. Delicate wood grains, subtle skin tones, the single threads fraying on the characters socks - all there, all beautiful in their own right. The first person perspective used in my illustrations allows the viewer to be drawn into the story, instantly involving themselves and relating the image to their own surroundings.
