Alan Wood & Partners was founded in 1968 as a firm of consulting civil and structural engineers. But as we have grown, so has our service provision. We work with developers, employers, funders, contractors and sub-contractors and have been involved in major construction projects throughout the world. We thrive in this challenging, dynamic, technically diverse worldwide sector, meeting the often-conflicting pressures of managing sustainable development in sensitive environments. The drive to improve performance, energy efficiency, environmental standards and safety are ever present within the sector together with constraints over costs and timings which add to the challenge.
