Erlend Tait has over 10 years' experience in design and restoration of stained glass windows in both ecclesiastic and secular settings. He has restored stained glass windows throughout Scotland in historic buildings such as Stirling Castle, Dunfermline Abbey and Cathedral, Glasgow University, St. Machar's Catherdral, Aberdeen and St. Magnus Cathedral in Orkney. Recent design commissions include stained glass windows in eight Black Isle schools celebrating Highland Year of Culture, plus private commisions throughout Scotland. Erlend Tait specialises in traditional methods of kiln-fired glass painting and staining, acid etching, and leadwork. All work, including removal and fitting, is carried out by Erlend Tait Stained Glass.
