Deep Tissue Massage

01/01/1970

Deep Tissue is a nurturing massage involving the use of slow, firm techniques to relax, lengthen and release muscular restrictions in muscle and connective tissue layers. Massage strokes used often involve the use of forearms, knuckles, and elbows to work at a 'deeper' tissue level and as such, 'Deep Tissue Massage' is sometimes referred to as 'Hands Free Massage'.It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness and sore shoulders.
