If we commit to off-site works but then find and report back a system is beyond economical repair (BER), we may operate a 'no fix, no fee' or 'reduced fee' (essential repair) policy. However, if we diagnose a problem and the client then simply opts not to go ahead, we will invoice an engineers' fee to compensate for time and trouble taken. Systems assessed as BER on-site, engineers' discretion. Evenings and Weekends Where a laptop or system is brought in by arrangement, an 'evening and weekend' supplementary charge is not applied. New Business £015.00 First visit, first hour - PCWorkspace pitches to work with new business clients on site for a minimum of one hour for a £15.00 engineers' fee. Charge offset against cost for systems returned to the workshop.
