We then decided to find a building to accommodate up to 200 able bodied orphans and 25 orphans with special needs, within a few days our colleagues and friends in Mirpur (Azad Kashmir) had found a suitable building We believe that education and support of any child is the way forward It is our aim that by December 2010 we would have constructed a building which will be able to house 1000 orphans, our own school and other facilities so that we can take on further responsibilities for the orphans of this devastating earthquake It's our aim not only to educate the orphans, but to educate any child that has no means of going to school Whilst the work was going on the building, Akhtar was working very hard with government officials regarding our project and we were finally able to raise awareness for our campaign
