Newark and Sherwood Concert Band is a thriving and busy band with regular attendance of about 40-50 members, You need to be of around Grade 5 standard, but there is no audition necessary. If you play a brass, woodwind instrument or tuned percussion, you will be very welcome to join us. We also have a Development Band for new and returning musicians of any age. There is a minimum G2 standard needed for this (not exams needed though) or you need to be making progress towards it. We rehearse every Tuesday evening at Winthorpe Community Centre, Woodlands, Winthorpe, Newark, Nottinghamshire NG24 2NL. Please email info@nscb.uk for more information.
